Following our Annual General Meeting on 22nd June, we are excited to announce a new season of CODA concerts at Rose Hill School Theatre starting on Sunday 21st September at 3pm with a performance from the Tunbridge Wells International Music Competition Wind Finalist Maria Filippova accompanied by renowned pianist Iain Clarke. Their programme includes works by composers as varied as Telemann, Franck and Scriabin and promises to be a treat!
Our other dates are 12th October (part of the Royal Tunbridge Wells International Music Festival), 16th November, 8th March, 26th April, 10th May and 21st June. Our performers will include talented young musicians from the Countess of Munster and Making Music awards, the String finalist from the Tunbridge Wells International Music Competition 2024, a fundraser for the Hospice in the Weald performed by our very own Chairman Alex Metcalfe and the return of two CODA favourites (to be confirmed shortly).
In addition we are running a Children's Concert for local families in collaboration with Rose Hill School and the Royal Tunbridge Wells Symphony Orchestra Outreach programme and a satellite concert in collaboration with St. Dunstan's Church in Cranbrook.
Members will note that we are reviewing our ticket prices so members can buy a ticket for £90 to attend all six concerts in the main series and Non-members will be £20 per concert. Tickets continue to be free for children aged 8-18 years with regular discounts offered to parents bringing their children shared via local schools and music teachers. As ever free refreshments will be offered at the end of the concerts and we warmly invite our audience to share a glass of wine and meet our wonderful performers.
We look forward to seeing you there!
